Frequently Asked Questions:

How far in advance should I book?

If you were adamant on securing a particular artist I would recommend booking as soon as possible. It is not uncommon for some artists to be booked out a year or two in advance particular during peak seasons.

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes I do rural, interstate & international weddings. Please be specific when filling out the contact form and I can quote you accordingly.

Do I need to have a trial?

This is definitely a personal choice. I highly recommend a trial just to ensure you are getting exactly what you want. Often clients may think they want a certain look but after a consultation and trial with an artist it can change.

What should I do before a trial?

I highly recommend you start a good skincare routine before your event. Makeup will sit and last so much longer if your skin has been looked after. If you would like recommendations on where to have your facial, or speak to a professional about your skin, please feel free to contact me. On the day of your makeup trial come with a clean moisturized face.

If you are coming in for a hair trial please ensure your hair is washed the night before. Shampoo twice and condition only the ends. To dry your hair off, blow-dry roughly straight and please do not put a hair straightener through it.

Do I need to wear more makeup or change my hair just because it’s my wedding?

No! This is such a myth. What matters is that you feel comfortable at your wedding and if that means looking exactly like you do everyday that is fine. It is my job to ensure you look the very best version of yourself whilst still feeling comfortable.

How many looks can I try at the trial?

Time and cost allocated for a trial is for one look only. If you want to try a completely different look on the same day this will need to be booked in. If it’s a simple lip change or a slightly different eye that is totally fine and can be accommodated for.

What products do you use and will the makeup last all day?

All my products are professional chosen to ensure the very best finish and longevity. My kit consists mainly of high-end luxury brands such as Giorgio Armani. Tom Ford, Chanel, Chantecaille, NARS, Hourglass, Kevyn Aucoin,  BECCA, MAC, By Terry, Oribe. If you are allergic to any makeup please ensure you let me know.

Can I provide my own lashes?

My lashes are complimentary when booked with an application. I prefer to use my own lashes and glue, as I know how they look and wear. If you still wish to bring your own application charges still apply.

Do you charge less for mother of the bride/groom or if someone wants simple makeup/hair?

No. Funnily enough ‘natural’ makeup or hair can take just as long to do and as many products to achieve the look. For this reason no discounts apply. If the hair is very short please chat to me as I can offer a discounted rate.

Are your prices negotiable?

No - sorry! I have been doing bridal & event makeup for over 15 years and my prices are set to reflect this.
